Yesterday was the 40th Anniversary of the 1st episode of Sesame Street ever aired! On November 5th, 1969 the VERY first epdiode was aired.

Congratulations on your 50th post Ima Virginia! When I was at Truett, my girlfriend Jaye loved Big Bird and that became her nickname. I have a daylily garden with a variety named "Big Bird" in honor of Jaye!
